DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

The Head of Vendor Management will lead the management and development of current vendors, identify new vendor opportunities, and implement them into the Singapore market. This role reports to the Country Manager and involves:

  1. Managing effective relationships with current vendors and VARs.
  2. Introducing and reviewing new vendors for the Singapore market.
  3. Developing relationships with new vendors.
  4. Setting and communicating targets for the Vendor Management team.
  5. Achieving Vendor Management targets.
  6. Reviewing vendor performance to ensure margins, mitigate risks, and maximize value.
  7. Developing Passport (multi-vendor) services for VARs.
  8. Collaborating with the Singapore Country Manager, Marketing, and Technical Services to leverage solutions and drive sales.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The ideal candidate:

  1. Is an exceptional leader capable of motivating a medium-sized team.
  2. Has demonstrable experience with vendors in the IT security sector.
  3. Possesses strong relationship-building skills, especially with vendors.
  4. Has excellent product knowledge and the ability to communicate this effectively.
  5. Can review vendor contracts to identify additional value.
  6. Is an effective problem-solver, identifying improvements and opportunities.
  7. Has strong networking skills within the IT security industry.
  8. Has experience setting and achieving challenging team targets.
  9. Possesses good people management skills, including talent identification and issue resolution.
  10. Is well-organized, managing a busy workload efficiently.
  11. Works well across organizational functions.
  12. Has good knowledge of Excel and Netsuite CRM system.
