HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Reporting to Chief Operating Officer. The Head of Operations will oversee the execution controls for all post-deal activities, including shipping and logistics, trade operations, hedging, chartering, and trade execution. The position will act as the main point of contact for third-party technical advisors, aligning on product performance and customer requirements. Additionally, the role will lead continuous improvements in commercial operations processes, systems, and internal controls, as well as inter-office coordination across regional teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelors degree in business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in physical commodity trading operations is required, preferably within the bulk commodities sectors. The candidate should have deep operational knowledge of trade execution, chartering, and shipping, Laytime and a strong understanding of shipping documentation, Letter of credits, product specifications, and compliance standards. Proven experience in managing operational risk, trade finance, counterparty exposure, and price benchmarking is essential. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator and team leader, capable of managing multiple internal and external stakeholders and driving operational excellence across the business.
