• Manage the entire Technical Departments consisting of Diesel, In-situ, Fuel and Internal Support Departments involving day to day operations in liaison with Managing Director and Dept Managers.
• Achieve company budget and target and department profit and loss as a whole.
• Formulate, monitor and track objectives and action plans to develop the departments from technical and commercial perspectives.
• Develop and execute training plans to enhance technical competence, report writing skills and commercial knowledge.
• Train and develop Technical employees to the highest standard, including training of new technical staff.
• Identify successors in Technical Departments and provide training.
• Conduct monthly departmental meetings to drive the Technical Department toward goals, monitor performance and take steps to recover or improve performance.
• Develop KPIs to manage Technical Department status and efficiency, including targets and benchmarks for reconditioning.
• Ensure staff welfare, guidance, motivation, discipline and compliance with legal and company rules and regulations.
• Maintain compliance with ISO, OHS, Risk Management and any future environmental or management systems.
• Maintain efficient operation with modern work ethics, a highly skilled and motivated workforce, and succession planning to provide qualified, professional, and profitable services to customers.
• Manage technical employees in daily duties including planning work-scope, personnel allocation, tool requirements, scheduling and execution of repairs and service works; monitor progress to meet time, budget and quality goals.
• Oversee job control and cost control, including invoicing and commercial matters through ERP systems.
• From time to time, perform on-site inspections and provide sound technical advice to customers.
• Design and review technical solution models, conduct market studies and due diligence, and perform technical and operation reviews as required.
• Communicate and cooperate with other Goltens business units openly and professionally to the benefit of the company.
• Prioritize safety and health for oneself and co-workers and follow the companys EHS policy.
• Any other tasks as assigned by management.

• At least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in Marine or Manufacturing Industry
• Diesel Engine knowledge
• Knowledge in reading production drawings

• Competent in Microsoft Office

• Fluent in English speaking and report writing
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Demonstrates ability to work professionally, independently and efficiently
