Contact Centre Officer (Shared Services – 1st Level Support)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Contact Centre Officer to join our Shared Services team. The incumbent will serve as the first point of contact for customers and deliver professional and timely support across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally
  • Manage customer emails and provide live chat support
  • Understand customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions
  • Ensure timely follow-up and updates within targeted Service Levels
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, policies, and processes
Requirements
  • Minimum Nitec qualification in IT-related discipline
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience (technical or non-technical call center environment)
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (required to support Mandarin-speaking customers)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure
  • Comfortable with staggered shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Basic computer skills and typing proficiency
Working Hours
  • Weekdays: Staggered shifts (8.5 hours per day)
  • Shift window: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Weekends & Public Holidays: Rotational coverage
  • Overtime will be compensated if time-off cannot be arranged
