Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Focus Executive (Freight) to join our logistics operations team.

In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for freight customers , handling bookings, shipment tracking, documentation, billing, and issue resolution. Youll collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and vendors to ensure smooth cargo movement and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding freight bookings, tracking, and general inquiries
  • Build strong relationships with clients by providing timely updates and proactive communication

Shipment Coordination

  • Work with operations teams, vendors, and carriers to ensure on-time pickup, transit, and delivery
  • Monitor shipments and provide real-time status updates

Complaint Management

  • Handle customer concerns professionally, aiming for swift and effective resolution

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare, review, and manage documents such as MAWB, HAWB, DG Declarations, and bills of lading
  • Ensure all shipping documents comply with customs and regulatory requirements

Billing & Invoicing

  • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies or adjustments
  • Assist the sales team with client follow-ups, rate quotations, and post-booking coordination

Recordkeeping & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate customer and shipment records for operational and audit purposes

Process Improvements

  • Suggest and support continuous improvement efforts across customer experience and operations

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics/freight forwarding (airfreight preferred)
  • Proficient in freight documentation and customs processes
  • Experience with billing and invoicing systems
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and customer service skills
  • Able to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • ️ Shift allowance provided for PM shift
  • Rotating weekend duties (Sat & Sun): Assigned on a rotating basis among team members, approximately once a month.
