About the Role

As a Senior Consultant specializing in Healthcare Communications, you will play a leading role in managing integrated communications programmes for healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, hospital and wellness clients in Asia and beyond.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic communications counsel and overseeing the development and execution of impactful programmes that enhance reputation, engage stakeholders and support business objectives. This role requires strong client management skills, strategic thinking and the ability to translate complex healthcare and industry topics into compelling communications for diverse audiences.

You will work closely with senior leaders, clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality programmes while contributing to business growth and mentoring junior team members.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated healthcare communications programmes across pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, hospital, wellness and health innovation sectors
  • Serve as the day-to-day account lead, managing client relationships and providing strategic communications counsel
  • Develop communications strategies that support clients' business and reputation objectives
  • Lead media relations, executive profiling, thought leadership and stakeholder engagement programmes
  • Identify opportunities for proactive storytelling and reputation building
  • Support healthcare awareness campaigns, product communications, event production and educational initiatives
  • Manage programme budgets, timelines and resources to ensure delivery excellence
  • Lead client meetings, presentations and reporting
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance on client servicing and programme execution
  • Contribute to new business development, including proposal writing, pitch development and organic account growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues across markets and disciplines to deliver integrated communications solutions
  • Monitor healthcare industry developments, policy changes and stakeholder trends relevant to client sectors

Experience That Contributes To Success

  • 5–8 years of experience in communications, public affairs, healthcare, policy, or consultancy environment with exposure to client servicing and multi-stakeholder projects
  • A strong interest in healthcare or policy, with a good understanding of compliance and regulatory issues, and how healthcare companies and systems operate
  • Experience running large, complex client accounts across multiple workstreams and geographies
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and leading communications programmes independently
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in media relations, stakeholder engagement and reputation management
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with experience working effectively in team-based environments and supporting senior colleagues on strategic initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to produce polished client-ready materials
