Job Title: AVP/VP, Sales and Trading Governance-Centre of Excellence, Chief Operating, Digital Business & Strategy, GFM

Job Responsibilities: - Define, oversee, and enhance the governance framework, principles, and processes for Sales and Trading activities within the department. - Ensure robust policies, control designs, and monitoring mechanisms are in place, aligning with regulatory requirements and internal standards. - Enforce group-wide best practices and alignment across headquarters and other locations where relevant. - Support or lead regular reviews and updates on governance frameworks and controls to address new or emerging risks and market developments. - Support or lead workstreams in both tactical and strategic builds of new automated, digital, AI/GenAI solutions to enhance governance, including for Sales and Trading, new products, and champion areas. - Partner with desks, regional COD, and support units, including Finance, Legal & Compliance, Credit, Market and Liquidity Risk Management, Technology, and Operation teams, to define and drive strategic transformation and continuous enhancements in enterprise processes and employee journeys by leveraging digital technologies, data analytics, and AI techniques. - Develop and strengthen team knowledge, build the enterprise knowledge base, and keep abreast of latest regulations, trends, practices, and opportunities.

Education and Experience Information: - Bachelors degree in accountancy, law, finance, economics, risk management, or a related field is required. - Good knowledge of financial products, including over-the-counter and exchange-traded derivatives, bonds, and equities, as well as sales and trading processes and controls, or regulations in Singapore is highly desirable. - Experience in innovative, technology-based solutions, transformation, or implementation of risk management and governance controls and processes is highly desirable. - Proven stakeholder management experience with cross-functional teams. - Proven track record on risk governance frameworks and regulatory controls. - Good working knowledge of regulations/rules in core locations such as HK, China, Taiwan, India, and Indonesia markets. - Familiarity with MUREX, journey thinking, 4D design framework, Gen AI, machine learning, data-driven decision-making, and data visualization. - Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a passion for continuous learning. - Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
