Assistant Director (Stakeholder Partnership and Engagement)

What the role is

Family Life Group (FLG) strengthens and supports families to realise the vision of making Singapore the best place for family life through our policies, programmes and publicity efforts.

Strong families are the building blocks of a caring community. We want to help families realise their hopes and aspirations, strengthen familial bonds and support them in overcoming challenges.

You will be part of the Partnership (PTR) Division in FLG to help nurture a community-based, family-friendly support ecosystem across all stages of life through the Families for Life movement. We promote family-centric campaigns, parenting and marriage programmes and form partnerships with corporate and community stakeholders and volunteers to promote and strengthen families.

What you will be working on

You will work together with a team to drive strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and partners in the public, private, people sectors to promote family and strengthen family relationships.

Your day-to-day work may include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Lead strategic partnerships and develop action plans with corporate and community stakeholders to champion family support programmes.• Cultivate and strengthen strategic partnerships with key and existing partners, whilst actively exploring innovative approaches to expand our network• Collaborate with partners to work together and shape partnership plans which establishes common goals • Plan and organize stakeholder engagement platforms such as appreciation sessions and networking opportunities • Manage and maintain stakeholder engagement databases, including planning of budget

What we are looking for

• At least 7 years of relevant work experience • Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills• Pleasant and positive personality, enjoys interacting with people from different backgrounds• Driven and self-motivated, able to multi-task• Able to work independently and a good team player
