GENERAL SAFETY AND HEALTH RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write down your personal commitment to safety and communicate it to all managers.
  • Define the entitys safety policy, objectives, and annual action plans.
  • Set safety targets for management and define their responsibilities.
  • Supervise safety investigations (Plant Manager).
  • Conduct safety visits and hold regular reviews.
  • Provide technical, human, and financial resources to achieve safety goals.
  • Invest in HSE when necessary, based on risk assessment results.
  • Ensure follow-up and completion of key nonconformities from safety audits (external, internal, cross audits).
  • Monitor safety management efficiency through audits, KPIs, and reviews.
  • Review the safety management system annually.
  • Personally follow up on the HSE action plan.
  • Be visible in the workshop to discuss and exchange safety management ideas with employees.
  • Lead safety committee meetings and follow up on actions and decisions.
  • Create and lead recognition and sanction programs.

Within Commercial & Sales:

  • Respect company travel safety rules.
  • Apply safety rules even over and above those of customers if no similar rules exist (e.g., safety shoes, goggles).
  • Follow safe driving rules.
  • Ensure all gift or external communication supports align with the "safety spirit" (healthy, safe, environmentally friendly).

Key Responsibilities and Activities

Go-To-Market Strategy and Execution

• Implement and adapt the APAC strategy according to market evolution.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the APAC region, focusing on market needs, trends, opportunities, and innovation.

• Align commercial clusters with the strategy and policies, managing their goals, targets, and deployment of brands, pricing, and other levers.

• Develop value propositions and market approaches tailored to segments and customer profiles.

• Monitor campaign effectiveness and market penetration efforts.

• Collaborate with marketing on market trends, competition, and customer insights to identify new opportunities.

• Ensure synergy among clusters and regional strategy, sharing best practices and resources.

• Support cluster leaders in implementing their go-to-market plans and resolving dependencies.

• Establish KPIs and metrics to measure performance of clusters.

Innovation: Product & Services, Digitalization

• Coordinate innovation initiatives to enhance go-to-market capabilities.

• Use data insights and technology to improve customer reach and service.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Share learnings across clusters to foster regional synergies.

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage commercial cluster leaders within a matrix structure.
  • Develop and oversee budgets to meet financial targets.
  • Track KPIs and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimize resource use for maximum ROI.
  • Report performance to senior management.
  • Communicate strategy and results to stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and support field teams daily.
  • Mentor team members for growth.
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
  • Conduct performance reviews and development plans.

Cross-functional Collaboration: within APAC and Group

  • Coordinate with supply chain for operational excellence.
  • Align strategies with production and logistics.
  • Work with R&D and technical teams on market solutions.
  • Ensure effective communication across departments.
