The Plot Thickens: Job Description
  • Proven track record in hunting and onboarding new business and identifying opportunities to upsell with clients and prospects.
  • Ability to independently lead RFPs to win new business, incorporating fresh thinking, creativity, and energy by imparting new information to prospective clients.
  • Assist the GM in driving the agencys revenue growth, building agency reputation, and thought leadership.
  • Manage multiple client accounts efficiently and accurately.
  • Financial savviness and business acumen are critical to effectively manage account budgets, project costing, and financial processes.
  • Maintain a network of editors and industry influencer contacts.
  • Maintain a proactive attitude, responsibility, and perspective to continually improve client service quality.
  • Bring cultural intelligence to everything you do—whether navigating cross-market nuances or building inclusive campaigns. Youll help create a workplace where everyone feels valued and heard.

The Heros Background: Qualifications
  • Preferred but not essential: Bachelors degree in Business, PR/Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or Linguistics
  • A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in client servicing and account management in communications, or a combination of tech in-house and agency experience.
  • Excellent people management skills, including managing direct and indirect reports and stakeholders in project delivery, pitches, and client servicing.
  • Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, scope projects, and ensure profitability.
  • Superior business communication skills in English. Additional language capabilities are a plus.
  • Experience in and passion for 360-degree communications is a plus.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit and passion for tech and innovation.
