We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Executive to join a leading organisation in the marine and offshore engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle, including tendering, cost estimation, contract management, procurement coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients, brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on tender and project matters.
  • Review enquiries, RFQs/RFPs, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Source and evaluate supplier quotations for technical and commercial compliance.
  • Prepare and submit competitive tender proposals within deadlines.
  • Support contract negotiations, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Monitor equipment delivery schedules, project budgets, milestone payments, and contractual obligations.
  • Conduct basic commercial risk assessments and post-project reviews.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and business partners.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the marine, offshore, or shipbuilding industry.
  • Experience in tendering, estimating, procurement, or contract management.
  • Good commercial awareness and strong numerical skills.
  • Knowledge of marine equipment and materials is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Willing to travel when required.
  • Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for communicating with Chinese-speaking clients and suppliers.
