Job Title: Lead Software Developer (Solution Architect)

Department: Engineering

Reports To: Director of R&D & AI Solutions

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Permanent Role

Job Description:

• Work closely with customers on understanding technical and business requirements and craft the architectural design to fulfil the requirements.
• Propose technical solution, tool and technology that influence management decision for customer requirement and project.
• Doing hands-on design, delivery and coding whenever needed to deliver projects.
• Design and develop common services and frameworks.
• Defines module, task and sub-task of designed feature.
• Provide workload estimation of customization, feature, component and task levels.
• Write software requirement specification.
• Write software detailed design specification.
• Forecast, inform risk/concern on task, team or project level and propose mitigation plans.
• Support, investigate, and propose solution/workaround and bug fix for production issue.
• Code review, coach and influence team for high-quality best-practice clean and secure code.
• Actively support relevant teams during the pre-sales phase, which includes but not limit to technical analysis, technical feasibility analysis, solution design, POC design and development, etc.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent with at least 8 years’ experience and 3 years’ experience in Solution architect role.
• Track record in delivering project in timeline manner.
• Experience working with production product/project delivery.
• Good knowledge exposure to public cloud services (Azure, AWS), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Good knowledge exposure in Relational, NoSQL databases, and object storage (S3).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-driven and independent.
• Strong work ethics and mindset towards high-quality software product.
• Good team player who is open to sharing knowledge and possesses strong analytical skills.

Some experience with or good knowledge in the following will be advantageous:

• Good understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture.
• Experienced working with AI-related solutions or integrations.
• Experienced in working with data engineering pipeline, database migration.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and judgment with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity working with edge devices or embedded systems.
