Responsibilities Working closely and supporting the regional risk team to develop, implement, and enhance existing risk models, quantitative analytics, reports, and processes as per required Building proof of concept solutions for the new ideas and tools for data visualization (real-time streaming data and historical data) to provide risk managers with more insights into our trading activities Documenting any work done during internship and handover for future enhancements Qualifications Penultimate or final year undergraduate students or Masters students pursuing a degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technical field Strong interest in Financial markets with knowledge of equities, FX, and related derivatives (futures and options) Proficient in one of the following programming languages: C++, Python, and Javascript, and familiar with using Python / R to conduct data and quantitative analysis Working knowledge of operating systems (preferably Linux) Brilliant problem-solving abilities and critical thinking Strong communication skills in English Benefits Tower's headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC's Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world.
